Vision: The vision is actually fairly deep in this one. I see many things when I study it. This woman seems to be popping out of a stone wall. She seems evil along with the color scheme and overall tone of this work. When I see this image my mind wanders around and creates dark stories that could have been written by Poe or Lovecraft.
Originality: While this piece isn't exactly 'original' in the fine arts sense and I have seen similar pieces before, this one stands out among the rest. The slightly gothic feel really sets it apart from other attempts.
Technique: The technique is definitely there, from the craft to the execution, everything works and this is a professional piece of art. I wouldn't mind hanging this on my wall to be honest. The skill-set required for this type of refined and mastered piece of art comes only from an individual with a lot of experience and craftiness/resourcefulness.
Impact: The impact is great to be honest, every little detail seems like it should belong, from the fly on her shoulder to the brush strokes extending from her hair. However, that being said, I do feel like some more directional lighting could tighten up the focal point a bit. My eye doesn't really get attracted to a particular point right away.
Deviousness: I expect this quality and caliber of work from this artist 100% of the time and I look forward to more art soon!
